Support Us Volunteering Volunteering FAQs Got volunteer questions? We'll answer some of the frequently asked ones here! How can I apply? The way to apply for a role is through the Volunteer Portal called Assemble. Here you will find the application form, which we aim to respond to within a week. Once your application has been approved, you will have access to the rota of your chosen role. Please head to this on the side bar, adjust the date to the one you are available for, and add your name. You can change these within 48 hours of your shift. You'll also be able to create your own profile to help you keep track of your shifts and sessions. Enter Volunteer Portal What will be expected of me? What support will I get? We have a volunteers' code of conduct which all volunteers are required to follow. Both staff and volunteers frequently support people at challenging or distressing points in their life, and it's important that we all provide the highest level of support and care. We're also committed to supporting you, to make sure you are happy and confident in your role, with everything you need to carry out your volunteering duties. Check out our Code of Conduct for volunteers, and the Volunteer Agreement which outlines the responsibilities of volunteers and Caring in Bristol. If you have any issues that you need to discuss, you can contact Amy Sinclair, our Volunteer Manager, who is there to help on the email address above.
