When you work with Caring in Bristol, you're helping people across the city who are experiencing homelessness get back on their feet and lead independent, fulfilling lives. Whether you're part of a community organisation, faith group, or a school, you have the power to make a difference. Our goal is to empower the city to solve homelessness, and we need that famous Bristol spirit to make it happen. Schools 

Fundraising at school is a fantastic way for students and teachers to get creative, have fun, and support the local community. Schools have told us that raising funds in a meaningful way is a valuable learning experience. We're happy to give talks at assemblies and school groups to raise awareness about homelessness and show how your support makes a difference in your city. 

We can support schools by providing materials to make your fundraiser exciting and successful. Understanding that school life is busy, we can provide a fundraising pack to support staff and parents in their fundraising efforts. Community Groups 

Community groups are amazing supporters of our work. Their commitment to helping others aligns perfectly with our mission. Becoming a fundraising partner lets your community put their beliefs into action, spend meaningful time together, and participate in events that reflect their interests and skills. We can provide a speaker to talk to your group, helping them understand the impact of their support. 

Coffee mornings, quizzes, raffles, collections, and carol evenings are fun events that have worked well, but we're always open to your ideas. We'd love to help you tailor an event to your community's interests.

Faith Groups

Faith groups have been fantastic supporters of our mission, and their dedication to helping others in our community has really boosted our efforts to tackle homelessness. Partnering with us in fundraising gives your faith community a great chance to live out their values, show their commitment to helping others, spend quality time together, and take part in activities that match their interests, skills, and abilities. 

We love connecting with our amazing supporters and can arrange for a speaker to visit your congregation or group. This way, your community can learn more about our work and the people they’ll be helping. Events like coffee mornings, quizzes, raffles, collections, and carol evenings have been lots of fun and effective, but your congregation might have other creative ideas for fundraising.
